Languages and markets
Discover the store's actual language and market identifiers before selecting a context.
Get context
GET /api/v1/context returns default_locale, base_market_id, language information and market information available to the key.
Use the returned market codes and identifiers; do not assume that a market code is identical to a country code.
default_locale
Store's default language code.
base_market_id
Identifier of the store's base market.
global_enabled
global_enabled indicates the plan entitlement to additional markets. The base market works without this entitlement. There is no manual Shopently Global switch; multilingual mode is independent.
Parameters
Endpoints that support context list locale, market_id and market_code in their parameters.
Follow their validation rules and use one consistent market selection.
Response metadata reports the resolved context.
A disabled or unavailable language or market is not silently replaced by an unrelated one.
