Creating and updating themes
Follow the safe path from a neutral Blank Canvas to a signed theme.
Themes are composed from sections
Authors compose each surface from stable core capabilities. The theme owns presentation while Shopently owns routing, forms, commerce and security.
Store administrators only change settings exposed by the section schema, such as logo, menu, content, product source, layout or a theme palette colour.
Step-by-step workflow
Create a Blank Canvas project, author sections incrementally, inspect the synthetic preview, validate and build a ZIP package.
An independent reviewer approves the exact digest. Only a signed artifact can enter a demo or controlled installation.
Update safety
A theme code update never replaces Page Builder layout, text, logo, menus or administrator selections. Those remain store data.
New platform features start as optional capabilities. An existing theme keeps working until its author publishes a compatible version.
