View customers
Allows customer accounts and their order, cart and return history to be viewed.

Sales → Customers
What you can do
- Search customers and read profiles
- account state
- purchase totals and lists of linked orders
- carts and returns.
What you cannot do
- Edit a profile
- change account state or open login history and IP addresses.
Additional requirements
- The active employee account must be explicitly assigned permission to view customers.
Data scope
Customer profile and activity data is limited to the current store.
After the permission is removed
The next list or profile request is denied; customer accounts remain unchanged.
