View customer security data
Allows protected customer IP addresses and login history to be read in sales views.
Where to find it in the panel
Sales → Customers → Details
What you can do
- Open the customer login tab and read an available IP address on a customer
- order
- cart or return view.
What you cannot do
- Change customer data
- sessions
- orders
- carts or returns.
Additional requirements
- Each view also requires its own viewing permission; this permission is explicitly assigned to administrators as well.
Data scope
Restricted security data is limited to customers and events in the current store.
After the permission is removed
The next history request or IP-address decryption is blocked; recorded events are not deleted.
