Store public IP address and domain

Shopently allocates a managed public IPv4 from a plan-neutral capacity pool. Changing the plan keeps the store address.

Purpose

Learn which DNS record to set and how Shopently safely changes a store’s public address.

For a root domain, the Panel shows an A record with the current store address and a unique CNAME for www.
For a subdomain, configure only the unique CNAME. Shopently updates its A record automatically in the platform zone.
A plan change keeps the IP. An operator can prepare a separate controlled move for infrastructure reasons.
During a change, both addresses serve the store. The new address becomes primary only after routing and public DNS are verified.
The previous address remains available for seven more days and is then safely returned to its pool.

Open My store in the Shopently Panel and find the domain and DNS section.
Copy the displayed record name, type and value exactly. Do not add AAAA or another CNAME for the same name.
Run the DNS check after propagation.
If the Panel reports a public IP change, update the root domain A record to the target address. No action is needed for a domain using CNAME.
Do not remove the previous record before the Panel displays the target address. Both routes remain available during the transition.

This feature has no dedicated permission. Access follows the related panel areas.
