Manage inventory settings
An employee can change global settings controlling how inventory availability is presented and handled in the current store.
Where to find it in the panel
Logistics → Inventory → Settings
What you can do
- Set the low-stock threshold and availability messages used by the storefront.
- Save the remaining settings in the inventory settings form.
What you cannot do
- Change stock for individual products or variants.
- Run bulk operations or manage adjustment schedules.
Additional requirements
- The employee account must be active and explicitly have the “Inventory settings” permission.
Data scope
Access covers global inventory settings in the current store only.
After the permission is removed
Further attempts to save settings are denied; values saved earlier remain active.
