Create carriers
An employee can open the form and create a new carrier with its basic delivery configuration.
Where to find it in the panel
Logistics → Carriers → Create
What you can do
- Set the name, delivery type, price, timing, delivery days, and basic rules of a new carrier.
- Assign available payment methods and sales markets while creating it.
What you cannot do
- Edit existing carriers.
- Configure credentials for external carrier integrations.
Additional requirements
- The employee account must be active and explicitly have the “Create carriers” permission.
Data scope
Access covers the configuration of a new carrier in the current store only.
After the permission is removed
Further attempts to open or save the create form are denied; carriers created earlier remain unchanged.
