Enable and disable customer accounts
Allows a customer account to be enabled or disabled.
Where to find it in the panel
Sales → Customers → Details
What you can do
- Activate a customer account or prevent it from signing in to the current store.
What you cannot do
- Delete accounts
- edit profiles or view security history.
Additional requirements
- Viewing customers is needed to find and open the customer profile.
Data scope
The change applies to one customer account in the current store and is recorded in the audit.
After the permission is removed
The next account-state change is denied; the state set earlier remains.
